***3. ARTICLES AND THINGS YOU NEED TO READ AND DO

Join me and film editor Misha Tenenbaum, Tuesday, December. 2 at 11:30AM for another FREE Moviola webinar.

"Edit Out Loud"

Join us for another unique and interactive online event. this is going to be GOOD! Watch as Misha talks out loud about his cutting decisions while he’s making them, a first in webinar history. See how Misha reacts to real feedback from the director. Finally, watch the final cut and hear Misha explain how every shot was ultimately picked. This might be the deepest a webinar has ever gone into the creative process of editing! Tune in!

***4. HELP US FUND THE 2K PROJECTOR. WIN SOMETHING.

Thanks to a GREAT deal from Light Iron here in Hollywood, we just bought a Christie 2K Digital Cinema Projector for the Gallery Theatre, where we hold all of our monthly meets. Well, actually my credit card bought it.

This means no more fuzzy images when demoing software. This means crystal clear and bright videos. This means you and anyone who rents the Gallery Theatre can use this beast. Now we got to pay for it. Help us, please.

We have raised over $5,000.00 so far thanks to Adobe, DVCreators and members like you. We need about $2500.00 more.

I’ve set up a donation page and if you donate $20.00 or more you are eligible to win a FULL copy of DaVinci Resolve. We will hold a drawing 2 days after we reach our financial goal.

The whole story on this projector as well as a donate button can be found here;

http://www.lafcpug.org/projector.html

The month of December will be devoted to raising funds and installing this beast. Please help us and donate what you can. We need to get this all done by the end of December so donate now if you can afford it.

Thanks so much!
