The "Other" NLEs Night.

Every so often lafcpug brings in "other" NLE applications and systems so you can see what else is out there. It's was time to do it again.

We welcomed Giles Baker, Adobe Premiere Pro Product manager, to show off the just shipping Adobe Premiere Pro CS4. Also appearing was Michael Krulik from Avid who showed off Avid Media Composer v3. Join FCP Gurus Andrew Balis, Kevin Monahan and Michael Alberts as they will attempt to answer all of your questions and solve all of your problems concerning FCS. If they can't solve your problem or answer your How 2, then you go home with a problem but you still got out of the house, so that's not a bad thing.

7:20PM - 7:45PM - Loader - Michael Alberts

Adobe® Premiere® Pro CS4 software is "the start-to-finish video solution that includes Adobe OnLocation™ CS4 and Encore® CS4 software. Pass the metadata through export to enable searchable video and unlock new revenue streams. Use Encore CS4 to deliver your content to DVD, Blu-ray Disc, and the web, and produce output for TV and mobile devices as well. Giles Baker will show us.

8:30PM - 9:55PM - Break
Spanish restaurant Tinto Tapas Espana will be at the theater making and selling yummy paella and tapas for a very cheap price. And Sangria too. The food is between $1 and $10. There will be paella for $5 to $10, and the tapas will range from sandwich bites, mushrooms, meatballs, salad, etc. from $1 to $2.50. So bring your appetite for food and drink as well as learning.
