Join Gurus Patrick Southern, Michael Kammes, Monica Daniel and Jessica Perlman as they will attempt to answer all of your questions and solve all of your problems concerning Resolve and FCPX, Avid, Premiere Pro and anything else you can think of. If they can't solve your problem or answer your question, then you go home with a problem, but you still got out of the house, so that's not a bad thing.

7:30PM - 8:20PM - Adobe Goes to the Movies - Billy Fox
We will welcome editor Billy Fox who just edited Joseph Kosinski's Only The Brave using Premiere Pro CC. He will talk about the pros and cons of using Premiere in a major motion picture and as much more as we can get him to talk about. Bring questions.
About Billy Fox ACE
Billy Fox ACE has lent his editing talents to a number of projects from Television Dramas, Mini-Series and Feature Films.
Fox was Co- Producer and Editor on the Award winning HBO mini-series ‘Band Of Brothers’ for Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg.
His feature credits includ e ‘Hustle & Flow’ for Director Craig Brewer, with John Singleton producing. Singleton later enlisted Fox to edit ‘Four Brothers’ for Paramount Pictures.
He worked with Jeff Nachmanoff to edit 'Traitor' with Don Cheadle and Guy Pearce.
Fox teamed up again to work with Brewer to edit ‘Black Snake Moan’ for Paramount Classics. Followed by 'The Crazies' for director by Breck Eisner.
Then again for Paramount Pictures to edit ‘Footloose’ once again for Craig Brewer.
Fox edited ‘Dark Places’. ‘Gone Girl’s Gillian Flynn’s 2nd feature. Directed by Gilles Paquet-Brenner. Film stars Charlize Theron, Chloe Grace Moritz and Nicholas Hoult.
Fox recently completed Only the Brave for Joseph Kosinski and Sony/Columbia. He also edited Straight Outta Compton for F. Gary Gray and Universal Pictures.
He is the recipient of 15 major awards and numerous nominations, including 7 Emmys wins, 2 BDA Awards, The Monitor Award, The Peabody Award, The Golden Laurel and Humanitas Awards.
8:30- 8:55PM - Break
This is the most important part of the show. It's networking time. This is a great opportunity to not only ask questions and get problems solved, but to meet people that just might change your life. Edit5 Consoles will be in lobby showing off Editing tables and chairs. Get to the Gallery early for this one. Snack bar wil be open for sodas, water, wine, chips and beer. I hope.
8:55PM - 9:55PM - How Stranger Things Does It.
We will welcome editors Kevin D. Ross ACE, Nat Fuller, Katheryn Naranjo and Casey Cichocki, from the hit Netflix series Stranger Things. They will discuss the workflow. Bring your questions.

About Kevin D Ross ACE
Kevin D Ross is a television and feature picture editor.
Kevin grew up in the Midwest and earned a Bachelors of Journalism from the University of Missouri.
He then moved to Los Angeles, where he attended the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts, earning his MFA in film production. Kevin has edited more than 100 hours of television and 7 features.
Before becoming an editor, he assisted on numerous well-known movies such as The Truman Show, Mrs. Doubtfire, Speed, and Vanilla Sky. Kevin is a board member of the Motion Pictures Editor Guild, IATSE 700, and he recently became a member of American Cinema Editors (ACE). He has cut both seasons of Stranger Things which earned him Emmy and ACE Eddie nominations for editing. He is currently editing the new season of X-Files.
More importantly, Kevin is happily married to Janet, an assistant editor who's taking a break from post-production to raise their 9-yr old twins.
About Nat Fuller
Nat Fuller is a film editor originally from the Bay Area. He began his post production career working at commercial post houses and advertisement agencies before moving to LA to work on features. He has worked as an assistant on such films as "Chasing Mavericks" and "Maleficent." Nat went on to assist Dean Zimmerman for the first season of "Stranger Things" and was promoted to editor for "Stranger Things 2."
About Katheryn Naranjo
Katheryn Naranjo is an editor/assistant editor from Los Angeles. She started as an intern in post production and worked her way up to assistant editor. She assisted on such shows as ABC's Resurrection, Power on Starz, AMC's Halt and Catch Fire, and Stranger Things 1 and 2. This season she was promoted to editor for episode 207 of Stranger Things 2.
About Casey Cichocki
An Arizona native, I graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Television, Film, & New Media. My first opportunity in film came as a Production Assistant working under my uncle, Don Zimmerman, on RED 2. I eventually earned the opportunity to work as an Assistant Editor on a non-union show in Chicago and in doing so, accrued the days necessary to join the Editors Guild. After working as a Post Production Coordinator on the first season of Stranger Things, I became Nat Fuller’s First Assistant on the latest installment of the series.
About Monica Daniel
Monica is an Editor based in Los Angeles. She has worked for several television networks in addition to independent features that have been released by Miramax, Lionsgate and Anchor Bay Entertainment. Her work for the E! Red Carpet Awards Season Coverage has been seen by millions in over 100 countries around the world. In her spare time she produces/Co-Hosts an industry podcast called Going Postal Show. She is currently working in scripted television as an Assistant Editor. Her shows include Supergirl (Warner Bros Television), Preacher (AMC) and Colony (USA/Legendary). She most recently worked on the Netflix series, Altered Carbon, which will be released in 2018.
