Agenda (subject to change)

7:30PM - 7:55PM- How to Shoot Flicker Free Time Lapse and Slow Motion footage - Jim Tierney
Digital Anarchy founder, Jim Tierney will take you from beginning to end of a sunset time lapse shoot, including post production. The focus will be on the sunset but Jim will touch on tips and tricks for other time lapse situations. Last, but definitely not least, learn all about post production including: color correction, stabilizing, and flicker removal using Digital Anarchy’s Flicker Free plugin.

About Jim Tierney
Jim Tierney, is a pioneer in the development of visual tools for motion design and compositing. During the 1990's, Jim worked for software companies like MetaTools, Atomic Power and Cycore. He helped create graphics products like Bryce, Evolution and Studio Effects. After working on After Effects plugins for almost a decade, Jim thought it was finally time to get out there and do some of his own. So he did, and
Digital Anarchy was born in 2001.

8:00PM - 8:30PM - Multi-monitor Editorial and Finishing Workflow - Neil Smith
We’re all being tasked with doing more in less time and doing multiple things at the same time … how can editors, VFX artists and colorists manage to accomplish all the things on their ever expanding To Do List? One solution is to work even more hours and cut down on sleep … the healthier alternative is to become the multi-tasker supreme. With the right applications combined with the new high powered OpenCL GPUs from AMD, content creators can now work on multiple monitors running different applications all at the same time.  Neil Smith, CEO of LumaForge will demonstrate how one artist armed with one PC and SIX monitors can do more damage in 30 minutes than a colony of beavers preparing for spring break.

Join Neil as he takes you through an end-to-end Adobe Creative Cloud, DaVinci Resolve and RedcineX-Pro integrated 4K workflow demonstration all running on a single PC with the new AMD FirePro W9100 professional graphics card driving six monitors!

8:30PM - 9:00PM - Break
Brand new lacpug sponsor HDDISK will be showing their storage solutions. Also Gard Cooksen will be in the Lobby showing off the awesome new Killer Keys Pro. This is your chance to ask questions. No questions? Then talk to each other. The break is a chance to hang out and meet and greet and get your problems solved and who knows, get a job. You never know who you are going to meet at lacpug Snacks and Beer and Wine will be on sale in the lobby. Proceeds go to the Gallery Theater.

9:00PM - 10:00PM - Adobe Premiere Pro CC and Adobe Prelude CC - Al Mooney and Michael Lewis
Michael Lewis will reveal the latest features for the next major release of Adobe Prelude CC, as well as showcase some of the workflow efficiencies possible by using Prelude Live Logger iPad app.

Al Mooney will cover what is new in Adobe Premiere Pro CC and there is a LOT of what is new.

About Michael Lewis
Michael Lewis is the Product Manager for Pre Production workflows (Adobe Story CC, Adobe Prelude CC, Adobe Prelude Live Logger) in the Adobe Digital Video and Audio group. Over the years Michael has worked closely with engineering, customers, and partners to help develop Adobe's video tools into an integral part of many production workflows, which has led to his current position as a Product Manager. While Michael enjoys working for a company that is continually at the forefront of digital imaging, he can still be found on weekends filming with his favorite Super 8mm film camera.
