Hey guys,
So we had to change a few scene/take logs due to faulty slate starts (not really sure what happened on set) Every shot is connected and logged properly in CT (to our likening) except when we changed certain take #'s the key-code in FCP is still linked to the metadata in the source clip. Is there anyway to change the key info in the prefs pane? Now this will probably not be an issue due to making the EDL from CT, but it would be nice to have the correct info in the browser just in case. Is this possible? Thanks again, J- If at first you don't succeed, keep ****ing it up 'till it works!
Hey Andreas,
As you can see the clip in the bin (highlighted blue) has a key code of 5045+01 now the actuall window burn is 5045+17 (true key code) the key code in FCP is technically irrelevant due to the EDL coming from CT. I am just curious if i can change the keycode in the FCP browser (highlighted in blue)? If at first you don't succeed, keep ****ing it up 'till it works!
you CANT change the keycode in the FCP browser.
i think i understand you: you had captured / logged the clips and had a CT entry for them, but you have since changed the in-point of the file/clip, and need the keycode to reflect this. for this you would use the FCP command: synchronise with Cinema Tools That's under the Tools Menu, and you may want to assign it a shortcut or button. nick
