student tabbing question

hey all!

just finsihing up installing everything on my new macpro system....
one thing i can't figure out....while in fcp, i used to be able to press "command+tab" to move between all open programs. Now, i can;t. when i am int he finder, it works fine, but when i;m in fcp it doesn't do anything.
any ideas?

that should work.

try re-stating FCP,
or re-booting your system

also, after a big instal they say it pays to repair permissions on your start-up drive.

am about to try disc warrio (wanted to run it once after reinstalling everything anyways...)

What version of OS and FCP? I wonder if you have assigned a different function to that combination in FCP, or have messed with System Settings > Keyboard & Mouse > Application Keyboard Shortcuts to assign different meaning to this. Or you didn't do any of those things, but they got set strange anyway. I'd check those places for a possible explanation.
