I'm using Final Print by Digital Heaven. It can generate thumbnails from XML files.
Only problem is, you would have to import all those movies into FCP to generate the XML file. If he has a bunch of odd formats that FCP won't read (mp4s, wmv, mpegs) then you'll be SOL. HTH, JK _______________________________________ SCQT! Self-contained QuickTime ? pass it on!
I have previously opened QT files in Photoshop CS3 using "Make Tearsheet" under automation... but then tried it last week and it didn't work. Not sure why.
There is a slick little command line tool called "QT_Tools" ... see this thread for more: [episteme.arstechnica.com] -MW
