Andyby Andy Field - Café LA Re: online sample reels - 17 years agoBarrett, Take a look at this it's a pretty low res version of one of our composite reels (we're just building the web site and it's a place holder till we get a higher res flash and qt version on there - the qt has no link yet) Give you an idea how to do a quick composite reel showing your "best of work" in 3 minutes. Andyby Andy Field - Café LA Re: Designing logos of video - 17 years agoMight I add...that if you design in Illustrator...you can then take into a three D program and extrude it out for some amazing dimensional effects... Checkout zaxwerks pro-animator...it efortlessly takes a flat Illustrator file (most companies do their logos in Illustrator) and makes it fly flip break apart and dozens of interesting effects in a 3-d space. Not much to do to fix that (other than slowing the footage) However try one of the image stabilizers/motion trackers in After Effects of the plug in from Lyric (www.lyric.com/fcp-plugins) or CHV ( www.chv-plugins.com/motion.html) If the shaking isn't an 8 on the Richter scale...any of the image tracking/stabilizing plugins will help -- the advice on getting a good cameraman is goodby Andy Field - Café LA Re: after effectS? - 17 years agoAfter Effects is so deep...that I've had it for years and I'm still learning amazing tricks in it.
