I shot a job in Dbeta on green screen, that I keyed over white, for a customer.
The customer is editing on a PC Premier(sp) my keyed selects. They requested AVI When I export the sequence using QT Conversion all I get are Bars. Sequenced is rendered and the AVI settings are Compression NONE Audio at 48k I'm not at the edit facility now but they are requesting this fix on Monday Should I change the Compressor settings to DVC Pro 50? Or just give them QT. Thoughts?
>That's a bit vague.
Definitely. Avi is just a container format. You need to know the codec. None will be a gigantic, and I'm not sure if it's an Avi codec in the first place. Also, there may be a file limit on .avi exports from FCP. (not sure if it's still valid [www.lafcpug.org] ) Also, if they have Quicktime Pro installed, Premiere will be able to access these quicktime codecs:
For the Aja uncompressed codec, they will need to download them from Aja. And make sure your video uses that same Aja codec. [www.aja.com] www.strypesinpost.com
