Getting an FCP7 project file open in FCP6.6 . . - 10 years agoCan it be done at all in any way? I believe many studios have avoided legal action by changing names, details, plot-points etc. But then in the case of 'Premium Rush' released last year they lifted not only the story and characters but also actual lines of dialogue from the book all without the authors prior knowledge or consent. I run OSX 10.8.2, 2.7GHz Intel Core i7, 16GB 1600MHz DDR3 2012 Macbook Pro would I even be able to handle the rushes with this set-up? Typically what kind of material would I expect to receive and in what formaby Wanted Man - Café LA Re: Editor's nightmare - 10 years agoData recovery is often too expensive an option BUT i did have success getting ALL of my hard drive's contents back this year after a drive failure. After all the eye watering quotes and almost criminal fees, i found a local laptop shop guy who did it for £30. Small shop, nothing corporate, but he really knew his stuff and saved my bacon big time, maybe hunt locally? I can't remember the exact names of the channels i found tutorials on, also theres a site called lynda or linda.com that has tutorials on just about everything.
