yes that's why Pan & scan in Fcp as to be simple, one curve and ... you are out of the road Motion is good for easy stuff that you wan't to handle fast I use Boris Red for delicate work and stay IN my timeline ( I think AE's "anchor point technique remains better than Red), Red is excellent but is only "position point" animated I 'd be curious to read Joe's tuto about cameby Francois - Café LA

a question for Tom Say you have one displacement from a point to an other : Fcp propose an " ease in - ease out " for EACH keyframe, starting and ending when Motion propose an "ease in " OR an "ease out, something is not very clear in FCPby Francois - Café LA

strange, I have some 16/9e material to edit in a sequence along with some 1/33 I am all Pal DvCam I choose to go anamorphic for everybody, choose an anamorphic settings for the seq. / ok / so I get vertical bars on the side of the 1/33 material wich is normal then I change my mind and "un-anamorph the sequence" / no way to get the 1/33 clips in the sequence getting back to normalby Francois - Café LA

Marcus nice worflow but, ... Don't you have in this case to render EVERYTHING, I mean even a single clip with nothing applied on it (fx, CC...) as soon as it is edited on the TimeLine ?by Francois - Café LA

since I started a particular job, each time I make an "add edit" , I mean the ctrl+v adding a regular "through edit" with its couple of horizontal red triangles I have a "duplicated frames " notification that shoudn't be there : white dots and colored bar on a few frames around the "through edit", strange ... no frame is duplicated restored prefs ... theby Francois - Café LA

hum ? "VIDEO TS AND AUDIO TS folder" straight out of Compressor ? wouldn't a step through Dvd SP be missing ? I second vigorously the rest: after JUST "Build" in Dvd Studio Pro (the Hammer icon) delete the "layout" with the DVD Studio Pro Sicon in your VIDEO TS folder and Toast both folders as Dvd-Rom UDf on a -R media NAME_YOUR_DVD_THIS_WAYby Francois - Café LA

hum... when you write "Scratch Disc" it sound like you mention the volume you are capturing on. I mean a volume who HAS to be an other one: the Start up volume, where you have system and applications, (and not a SINGLE video captured file on)by Francois - Café LA

because you have : - to specify anamorphic in you export (this is for you image itself) AND - specify the size of the image in the QuickTime settings (this is for the presentation QuickTime will make of it, say... the proportion of it's window. two different thingsby Francois - Café LA

Dear Jude, I have to desagree with you the trim window is VERY usefull (just kidding) although ... here a utility, not for trimming: It's the faster way to know instantly how long you have left (unedited) on BOTH side of a transition, (just look at the points)by Francois - Café LA

yes that's why Fcp create a sort of "new sequence" in the browser(wich is "the nest" ) when you nest from within the timline and THIS ONE will always be updated and what ever you editing in it will be updated in the timeline it's no "dumb" from Apple, it's a deliberate choice, a way of thinking and working specific to Fcpby Francois - Café LA

huhu you can keep your dmg on a volume until you receive the new Dvd s if you want to be sure to burn back (in case of problem) your better of to convert the ".dmg" into a ".cdr" (still via disk utility) and then BURN WITH TOASTby Francois - Café LA
