We've rented them a few times for when we needed to turn around a shoot to finished edit in under three hours. Strolled by the Apple booth...saw their demo...ran it through it's paces and said "who do I make the check out to" At 1000.00 bucks it paid for iby Andy Field - Café LA Re: DV Matte Pro and Keying in FCP 5 - 18 years agoIt looks like a great product - Vector Key 2.0 Chroma-Keyer Oak Street Software ...and very reasonably priced at 59.00 I haven't used it yet...but for the Keying afficianados in the group...here's very good news. Serious Magic's Ulta 2 Keying program - that only works on PC's because it uses Windows Active X....will NOW WORK ON AN INTEL MAC - provided you bood in Windows XP....if you areby Andy Field - Café LA Re: DV Matte Pro and Keying in FCP 5...compatible? - 18 years agoYes I've used it with FCP 5 and it works fine...although you might want to email them if you plan on using FCP5 UNIVERSAL with the new Intel macs.. They are still on DV25 resolution on Avid News Cutter for World News Tonight at the bureau...I remember a time where I would cut things on Final Cut and bring a mini dv tape to play up a fiber line to New York...the engineers would give me a snarky look and say "what is this - it's not broadcast quality!"
